Internal Branding
Surveys have shown that there is distinct correlation between a brand’s perceived strengths and how they translate into positive business results. Companies all over the world are awakening to the value of branding, from SMEs carving a niche and a unique twist to their business, to MNCs strengthening and sustaining their brand equity.
At the same time, it is imperative to remember the core of all organisations, large or small – human capital. Employees are the first group of stakeholders that have to buy-in to the company’s brand. Simply because they are the ones who will deliver your brand promise. At NBS, we understand that internal branding goes beyond employee communications. It’s about inculcating a corporate culture that prevails across the organisation. Employees, as the company’s strongest brand ambassadors, play a pivotal role in living and breathing the brand.
Investor Relations (IR)
While striving for investors’ attention, public listed companies are predominantly pressured to adopt the new world order in corporate governance or, in a broader sense, have in place good corporate social responsibility (CSR). We work with companies to not only ensure proper reporting and announcements, more importantly, we are able to grasp the issues at hand and help our clients react appropriately to them.
However, the needs and requirements of public listed companies are standard at basic level and varied beyond that. At basic level, companies are looking to meet the compliance requirements of regulators. Whereas, IR at a higher level comprises value-added components that will help to enhance shareholders’ value and position the company for strategic growth and development. NBS offers Investor Relations packages that make it easy for you to decide on the level of investment you would place on IR.
Our Investor Relations packages can include these services:
- Strategic Counsel / Issues Management
- Analysts Relations – analyst briefing and survey
- Roadshows and presentations
- Earnings announcements – press conference
- Strategic communication for managing M&A
- IPO planning and preparation
Crisis & Issues Management
We understand that critical business issues have to be properly managed before they escalate into crises. Among the tools we adopt in issues management and communications are:
- Identify areas of vulnerability - business practices, corporate reputation, corporate governance and competitive landscape, etc
- Develop positioning strategies and communications plans
- Prepare crisis toolkits – crisis communication Guide, standby messages, first 24-hour action template, fact sheet and statistics, etc
- Crisis preparedness – briefings and training
In the event of a crisis, immediate response is crucial. NBS will work closely with senior management executives to respond (24/7 if necessary) to the crisis as it evolves with timely messages and manage all media interactions with a view to minimise the business and reputational damage to the organisation.
Digital Communications
New media? We prefer to call it emerging technology. Recognising the dynamic speed at which communications has radically evolved in the last decade or so, internet technology has transformed the marketing landscape into a borderless playing field for PR, advertising, direct marketing and customer engagement. This allows the proliferation of new, creative ways for an organisation to engage their target audiences. Be it online marketing or social media, together with our digital partner Notion Age, we help you strategise the use of digital marketing communications. At the same time, we also advocate ROI measurement for your digital activities. Our digital campaigns include:
- Email marketing
- Viral campaigns
- Blogger relations
- Social networking
- Link-building
Media Training
Senior executives of a company are often exposed to the media – for press conferences, media briefings, corporate visits and media interviews. These are the times when as spokespersons for the organisation, they embody what the company is all about. Social etiquette, body language, protocols, understanding current issues, key messages – these are just some of the issues that may make or break that all-important meeting with the media.
Our media training programs are customised for each client to help senior executives prepare for every media interaction. The training can be done one-on-one or in small groups.
Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)
We are in an era of multi-sensory and multimedia exposures daily. Reaching out to your customers and audience can now be only effective via multi touch points that constantly resonate with them. At NBS, we embrace all channels of communication – traditional print, TV, video, radio, online, mobile, social media, blogs, and probably many more under the banner of ‘new media’.
It is not about doing what’s most sophisticated or cool for your clients. It is about understanding who your customers are and what’s the most effective way to get to them. We believe in strategising and planning the best IMC campaign for our client. Of course, we also want do it with the ‘cool’ factor. NBS works with a regular network of creative specialists to execute results-oriented IMC projects and campaigns. Apart from bringing to the table our savvy business ideas, communication expertise and creative concepts, we lead these campaigns with excellent project management skills.
